Eric R. Deitz is a partner in the San Diego office of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP (Gordon & Rees) and a member of the Professional Liability, Employment and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He also practices estate and appellate litigation. Mr. Deitz earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and his

undergraduate degree in Journalism with a minor in History from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He completed a Judicial Internship with the Missouri Court of Appeals – Western District
 
Mr. Deitz lectures on legal ethics, e-discovery, and document retention practices and policies. He currently serves on the State Bar of California’s Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct. A member of the invitation-only Legal Ethics Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, Mr. Deitz is the current vice-chair and incoming chair for 2017. Since 2013, Mr. Deitz has been recognized by the Southern California
edition of Super Lawyers® in the area of Professional Liability Defense.
