This is a Form of an Employment Agreement. It is designed to include the standard items typically found in such an Agreement. Note that the description of services to be rendered and compensation to be paid are left to be described in separate Exhibits. This is intended to allow the parties to have more flexibility in addressing such terms, rather than have them spelled out more narrowly and generally in the body of the Agreement.

Note that paragraph 5 lists some of the benefits available to the Employee. This section can, of course, be revised to add (or subtract) other benefits – such as life insurance, participation in the Company’s retirement plan, if any, etc. Alternatively, since these matters relate to compensation, they may be included in what is to be provided in Exhibit B, rather than in paragraph 5.

Mr. Siegel has lectured extensively throughout the United States on tax, business and estate planning topics on behalf of numerous organizations, including National Law Foundation, AICPA, CCH, National Tax Institute, National Society of Accountants, and many others.  He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall and Rutgers University law schools.
