This is a Form of Charitable Remainder Unitrust designed to meet the requirements of the Internal Revenue Code, the Regulations, and the Rulings issued thereunder. It has been drafted to accommodate either an inter vivos trust or a testamentary trust, as will be seen from the alternative paragraphs provided. It provides for a selected unitrust period benefit payable to the non-charitable beneficiary for life, rather than for a specific number of years, but could be easily modified, if desired, to provide for a benefit for a non-charitable beneficiary for a specific term of years (not to exceed twenty, by law).
